Also worth knowing

Reception of 41+ guests becomes a private event at extra cost. $250 cancellation fee within 1 month of the date. No weddings on Sundays or national holidays (and set Dec/Jan dates). Riu also sells an 'Indulgence Beachfront Bliss' collection at a private beachfront venue in Punta Cana: $12,699 for 50 guests, $100 per extra person, valid until 12/31/2026 (riu.com); the PDF does not name which hotels it serves. Collection prices are the US-market figures from the weddings app; the app takes the customer's origin country, so other markets may differ.
