Server logs

Each request is logged with its IP address, the page, the time, the referring page and the browser name, to keep the site running and find faults. The logs are not used to identify anyone and are not sold or shared.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics counts which pages are read and roughly where readers are, which decides which resorts get re-checked first. Google’s opt-out add-on or any tracker blocker turns it off, and the site works the same without it.

Your browser

The resort filters live in the page address, so a filtered list can be bookmarked or sent to a partner. Nothing is written to your browser’s storage. There are no accounts, no newsletter and no advertising.

The contact form

A message sent through the contact form is delivered to the two people who run the site, and the address you give is used to answer it.

Money

The site earns nothing from resorts: no listing fees, no referral commissions and no paid placement. Links to resort pages are plain links.
